Welcome to LoonSong
At LoonSong Farm, we have been practicing high quality organic gardening and farming since 2003.
After offering organic market gardening and CSA for 5 years, in 2008 we began growing organic oats, spelt, wheat, rye, beans (for soups, baking and bulk sale), and now also grow buckwheat and sunflower seed, using both organic and Biodynamic practices. We mill many of these grains with care into fresh-milled flours and rolled oats. The flavor and freshness of our grains are unique and delicious and will bring you back for more!
In 2017 LoonSong migrated from Manitoulin Island to Northumberland County in southeastern Ontario. Our crops are all planted in the hills of Northumberland and Peterborough area, between Rice Lake and Lake Ontario. We are inspired by the growing community connections, people, landscape, and farmland we find in this region.
We are honored to continue to grow crops with care for our customers.
Our fields are certified organic by Eco-Cert.
